CFE Forum 2007
The yearly CFE Forum took place on Thursday, 19th of April 2007 at the Concert Noble in Brussels. The title of the morning session was “The coordinated approach of national direct tax systems as the answer to ECJ decisions”. Speakers were Michel Aujean (Director E, DG TAXUD/European Commission, Brussels), Volker Heydt (Head of Unit E3, DG TAXUD / European Commission, Brussels) and Ernst Czakert (Head of Divison IV B6, Federal Ministry of Finance, Berlin).
The afternoon session had the title “How fraud is destroying the single market”. Speakers were Gabriele Himsel (Head of Divison IV A2, Federal Ministry of Finance, Berlin), Richard Brown (Head of International Indirect Taxation, HM Treasury, London) Wolfgang Nolz (Director General IV, Federal Ministry of Finance, Vienna) and Alexander Wiedow (Director D, DG TAXUD/European Commission, Brussels).
