The Spanish Association of Tax Professionals (AEDAF) is the leading Spanish fiscal association gathering more than 1,800 tax professionals from all over the country. Within its goals and with the mission of a permanent dedication to excellence, AEDAF offers its members a great added value by providing them with a wide range of information and services. These services include the constant education of its members through different publications, the holding of professional meetings regarding fiscal matters and the regular exchange of information among its members. Since its creation in 1967, AEDAF has adapted its services to the challenges that the tax professionals have to meet everyday bearing in mind the profound economic changes taking place.

AEDAF encourages the creation of a fiscal conscience among citizens by divulging and clarifying the most complex aspects of the fiscal legislation. It also presents its independent and precise view to the actual fiscal issues with the aim of protecting the legitimate interests of taxpayers and the defence of the fundamental principles of the State of Law. Therefore, AEDAF proposes recommendations in fiscal matters to the executive and legislative powers, and collaborates in the study and modification of the fiscal legislation, trying to simplify and ameliorate it. ADEAF is also a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Latinamerican Institute of Tributary Law (ILADT) two of the most prestigious international organisations of tax professionals.
