The CFE was organising the conference “The Tax Adviser profession: ownership and cooperation - How much regulation is needed?” on Wednesday 26 November 2008. The intention of the conference was to reflect on how regulations on the tax adviser profession are pervading the profession particularly as regards of ownership and cooperation. The Conference contained two sessions focusing upon “Risks of external ownership and regulatory responses; multidisciplinary activities under the EU Directive on Services” and “The pervasiveness of European Community Law”“.
