The CFE Forum 2008 took place on Thursday 3 April 2008 in the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels. The morning session “The Taxpayer‘s Charter - a Model for Europe?” examined the recent thinking and it debated the role that Taxpayer’s Charters can play in improving the tax systems in all countries to the benefit of revenue authorities, taxpayers and tax advisers.
The afternoon session “VAT formalities for electronic invoicing - a challenge for Europe‘s businesses” highlighted the overall technical and legal issues as today business suffer from legal uncertainty, non-compliance with requirements and a lack of confidence in the implementation of e-Business solutions.
